An economics graduate from Cardiff University he has spent the last thirty five years in
the accountancy profession from 1981 to 1987 as a partner in what is now Price Waterhouse
Coopers and from 1987 to 2004 as the senior partner of Griffith and Miles.
In 2004 he established DRP + co to build on the base practice developed by Mahmood Poptani
and the experience gained by his daughter Nia Wynne Price both as an employee of his prior
practice and in two years of independence in Cardiff. The link with, Peter Wilkins + cothe associate practice in Cardiff widens the geographic base of the venture.
His client base has always been the larger growth focused SME's in South Wales. As well as compliance accountancy, audit and tax work the emphasis has been on corporate strategic planning incorpoating finance arrangements, Welsh assembly Grant applications and corporate and personal tax planning.
During his career Eric has had experience of commencing new businesses and company floatation on the stock market, acting as finance director to a public company and as bank nominated non executive director to private companies.
Outside appointments include the Treasureship of the Royal National Eisteddfod and membership of the CBI Wales Council.
In his spare time he is a keen golfer and still manages to squeeze in the odd round between work and family when time permits.
